About this Course
PBIS is a prevention-oriented way for school personnel to organize evidence-based practices, improve their implementation of those practices, and maximize academic and social behavior outcomes for students. PBIS supports the success of all students. This course will provide an overview off all the practices that should be implemented in Tier I PBIS.

Target Audience: New members of PBIS teams , new district administrators, PBIS team members who have not been trained in Tier I, anyone needing a refresher in the Tier I framework.

Meet the Instructors
Heidi Kerchenski
is an Educational Consultant at Support Team Region 8. As a consultant, she provides technical assistance and professional development to schools in areas of school improvement, literacy, special education, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). In addition, Mrs. Kerchenski serves as a member of the Ohio PBIS Network and contributes to the development and implementation of the PBIS training in Ohio.
